  2. 3 cups water

  3. 3/4 teaspoon cream of tartar

  1. Preparation : Cook quickly without stirring to 290 degrees Fahrenheit. Substitute fruit juice for liquid or add flavored extract and desired food coloring. Pour quickly into greased square pan. Chill until firm. Turn out of pan and crack into desired pieces. Makes about 2 pounds. Party Shapes: pour mixture into greased individual shaped molds about 1/4 inch thick. Chill. Turn out when cold.
