  2. 2/3 cup(s) sugar

  3. 3 cup(s) cranberry juice

  4. 1 cup(s) fresh lime or lemon juice

  5. Seltzer

  6. Lime slices for garnish

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the water and sugar and bring to a boil. Cook over moderate heat, stirring just until the sugar dissolves. Let cool.

  2. Fill a pitcher with the sugar syrup, cranberry juice and lime juice and chill. Pour into ice-filled Collins glasses about three-quarters full. Add seltzer and garnish with a lime slice.
