  4. 3 tablespoons coarse-grain Dijon mustard

  5. 2 to 3 garlic cloves, pressed

  6. 4 1/2 teaspoons dried basil leaves, crushed

  7. 1/8 teaspoon salt SANDWICH

  8. 1 (8 1/2-ounce) loaf cracked wheat or multigrain French bread, halved horizontally

  9. 4 tomato slices, halved

  10. 4 thin slices reduced-fat Swiss cheese, halved diagonally

  11. 1/4 medium-size green bell pepper, thinly sliced, or 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion

  12. 6 ounces sliced oven-roasted deli turkey

  13. 1 cup mixed salad greens

  1. Description: Download our Food Plan for a variation of this recipe! STEP 1: Combine all aïoli ingredients in a small bowl, and stir until well blended. STEP 2: Spread cut sides of bread with ¼ cup aïoli; refrigerate remaining aïoli for later use. Layer bottom half of bread with the sandwich ingredients in the order listed, and top with the remaining half. Press down gently. Cut into four pieces.
