  1. INGREDIENTS AND DIRECTIONS:

  2. 1 3/4 c. shortening

  3. 2 tsp. salt

  4. 1 tbsp. sugar

  5. 1/2 c. water

  6. 1 tbsp. vinegar

  7. Shape into balls (4 to 6, depending upon size of pie pan) and chill in refrigerator 15 minutes or more. Roll out on floured, waxed paper. Line pie pan with pastry.

  8. Use for making your favorite baked pie. This pastry will freeze. Shape into balls. Flatten and wrap each ball separately in clear freezer wrap, place in a freezer bag, exclude air and fasten with twist seal. When using, thaw and roll into the flakiest pie crust ever.
