  4. 1/2 stick butter

  5. one large onion

  6. large can chicken broth

  7. poultry seasoning

  8. salt and pepper

  9. one pint table or heavy cream

  1. rinse chicken and pat drysprinkle with poultry seasoningheat enough olive oil and butter to coat the bottom of a large skillet over medium heatadd chicken to pan and turn to cook just until browned, seasoning with salt, pepper and more poultry seasoning to cover both sidesadd enough broth that chicken pieces are almost coveredslice one large onion in rings- place over chicken. no need to stir intitially!

  2. cover and cook over low heat for an hour, turning several timesremove chicken from brothturn up heat and cook broth until it begins to reduce and thickenlower heat to medium, add cream until gravy thickens and becomes nice and creamy 2 pour over chicken pieces and enjoy! It's sp simple. yet soooo delicious.
