  2. 1 ilogram beef top round -- whole

  3. 14 up cooking oil

  4. 4 loves garlic -- sliced thinly

  5. 1 edium onion -- sliced

  6. 2 ieces potato -- quartered

  7. 1 carrot -- cut into 2" pieces

  8. 1 lime -- sliced with rind

  9. 2 ablespoons soy sauce

  10. 12 easpoon peppercorns -- crushed

  11. 1 up tomato sauce

  12. 1 iece bay leaf

  13. 1 easpoon salt

  14. 1 1/2 ups hot water

  1. Brown meat in cooking oil, set aside.

  2. In the same oil, saute garlic and onion. But in lime, soy, pepper, tomatosauce, bay leaf and salt. Simmer for 3-5min.

  3. Add meat and water. Cover and simmer until meat is tender.

  4. Add potatoes and carrot. When vegetables are done, slice meat. Arrangeon a platter with vegetables. Strain sauce and pout over meat.
