  1. 1/4 c Butter or margarine

  2. 3 tb All-purpose flour

  3. 2 ts Chives, chopped

  4. 1 ts Salt

  5. 1/2 ts Dry mustard

  6. 1/8 ts Pepper

  7. 1 3/4 c Milk

  8. 4 Medium potatoes, sliced

  1. Servings: 6 Microwave butter in 2 quart casserole at high for 45 seconds to 1 1/4 minutes, or until melted.

  2. Stir in flour, chives, salt, dry mustard and pepper.

  3. Blend in milk.

  4. Microwave on high 5 to 7 minutes, or until thickened, stirring every 2 minutes.

  5. Mix in potatoes.

  6. Cover.

  7. Microwave on high 15 to 20 minutes, or until potatoes are tender, stirring 2 or 3 times.

  8. To make with ham, add small slices of ham with the potatoes.
