  1. Raw oysters

  2. 2 Eggs - beaten

  3. 2 cups 125g / 4.4oz Cornmeal

  4. 1 teaspoon 5ml Sugar

  5. 2 teaspoons 10ml Salt

  6. 1 teaspoon 5ml Pepper

  7. 2 tablespoons 30ml Flour

  1. Drain oysters and soak in eggs. Mix cornmeal, sugar, salt, pepper and flour.

  2. Dip oysters in cornmeal mixture and fry in deep shortening until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
