  1. A:

  2. 600g bamboo shoots

  3. 6 fried gluten balls

  4. 1 green pepper

  5. 6 button mushrooms

  6. 1 small slice ginger

  7. B:

  8. 1 tbsp sweet fermented rice

  9. 1 tbsp hot chili paste

  10. 1/3 tsp salt

  11. 1/2 tsp MSG

  12. 1 tsp sugar

  13. 1 1/2 cup water

  14. C:

  15. 1/2 tbsp cornstarch

  16. 1 tbsp water

  17. 1/2 tbsp sesame oil

  1. Remove the shell from the bamboo shoots, cut into bite-size triangles and deep-fry in oil (100°C) for 4 minutes and remove and drain.

  2. Soak the gluten balls in water until soft. Chop them together with green pepper, mushrooms and ginger. Stir fry in 2 tbsp hot oil over high heat until fragrant.

  3. Add 'B' and the bamboo shoots; cook for 3 minutes.

  4. Add 'C' and the sesame oil, stir until mixed. Remove and serve.
