  1. 2 cups regular oats, uncooked

  2. 1 cup wheat germ

  3. 1/2 cup flaked coconut

  4. 1/2 cup sliced almonds

  5. 1/2 cup dry-roasted sunflower kernels

  6. 1/2 cup chopped dates

  7. 2 tablespoons sesame seeds

  8. 2 teaspoons grated orange rind

  9. 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar

  10. 1/3 cup vegetable oil

  11. 1/4 cup frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed and undiluted

  12. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  13. 3/4 cup raisins

  1. Directions Combine first 7 ingredients in a large bowl; mix well.

  2. Combine remaining ingredients except raisins; pour over oats mixture, and mix well.

  3. Spread mixture evenly in a lightly greased 15- x 10- x 1-inch jellyroll pan.

  4. Bake at 300° for 40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.

  5. Add raisins, and mix well; cool.

  6. Store granola in an airtight container.
