  1. 1/2 cup warm water

  2. 1 teaspoon beef or chicken base or instant bouillon granules

  3. 1/4 cup finely chopped onion

  4. 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar

  5. 2 tablespoons steak sauce

  6. 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  7. 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  8. 3 drops hot pepper sauce

  1. Bring water to a boil in small saucepan. Add bouillon; stir to dissolve. Stir in onion, sugar, steak sauce Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and hot pepper sauce. Reduce heat to low; cook, stirring occasionally, for 6 to 8 minutes or until mixture is thickened.
