  2. ARROWROOT SAUCE

  6. 2 tb Arrowroot powder

  7. 1 1/2 c -cool water

  8. 2 tb Tamari soy sauce -- up to

  9. 3 tb

  10. 1 ea Vegetable bouillon cube

  11. -up to 2 cubes

  12. -or 1-2 tsp vegetable broth

  13. -powder

  14. Cayenne pepper -- to taste

  15. Sea kelp -- to taste

  16. --OPTIONAL--

  17. -dash of sweetener (to

  18. -balance flavours)

  19. Mix the arrowroot thoroughly with the water in the

  20. saucepan, using a wire whisk. Add the remaining

  21. ingredients and mix well. Cook over medium heat,

  22. stirring constantly until thickened. Keep warm over

  23. low heat. Serve over hot vegetables, whole grains or stir frys. Keeps up to 7 days in refrigerator or may

  24. be frozen.
