  1. Lemon Cream Cake

  2. 1 pkg white cake mix

  3. 1 pkg lemon cake mix

  4. 1/2 cup sour cream

  5. 1 tsp vanilla

  6. 1 lemon

  7. 1 cup whipping cream

  8. 1 pkg Mascarpone Cheese

  9. 1 cup powder sugar

  10. 4 Tbsp melted butter

  11. Make the white cake according to the directions on the box, adding

  12. the sourcream and vanilla. Bake in a 10 inch round baking pan. Cool

  13. the cake completely. For the lemon cream filling, mix the Mascarpone cheese, powder

  14. sugar, juice of 1 lemon, lemon zest of half the lemon and whipping

  15. cream, mix until creamy and smooth.

  16. For the crumb topping, combine 3/4 cup of the lemon cake mix with

  17. the melted butter to make a crumb topping.

  18. To assemble the cake, cut the white cake in half so you can spread

  19. the lemon cream filling between the 2 layers of white cake. Frost

  20. the top of the cake with a thin layer of cream filling and sprinkle

  21. the crumb topping on top.
