  1. 3 tablespoons Smart Balance Original Buttery Spread

  2. 1 1/2 cups finely chopped onions

  3. 2 teaspoons chili powder

  4. 1 pound raw peeled shrimp

  5. 2 tablespoons lime juice

  6. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  7. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper Lime wedges, optional

  1. STEP 1: Melt 1 tablespoon of the Smart Balance® Original Buttery Spread in a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Add the onions and cook 7 minutes or until the onions brown on edges, stirring frequently. STEP 2: Add the shrimp, cook 2 minutes, add the chili powder to the shrimp mixture, cook 2 minutes or until shrimp is opaque in center, stirring frequently. Remove from heat. STEP 3: Stir in the remaining ingredients; stir until Smart Balance® Original Buttery Spread has melted. Cover and let stand 3 minutes to absorb flavors. Serve with lime wedges, if desired. STEP 4: Serve over brown rice cooked with turmeric (1/4 teaspoon), if desired.
