  1. Crockpot Pot Roast

  2. 3 lb chuck roast

  3. 2 garlic clove, minced

  4. 1 T Worcestershire sauce

  5. 1 T marjoram

  6. 2 onion, chopped

  7. 16 oz tomato, stewed

  8. 8 oz water

  9. 2 T oil

  10. salt

  11. pepper

  12. flour

  13. Saute onion and garlic with oil in the cooking pot until transparent.

  14. Season the roast with salt and pepper and then dredge (lightly) in

  15. flour. Brown the roast (on top of the onions and garlic) in the

  16. 10 minutes

  17. add the stewed tomatoes, water and Worcestershire sauce. Sprinkle

  18. 4 for about 5 hrs.

  19. When done, puree the remaining tomatoes, juices and onions, return

  20. to pan, add thickener for gravy.
