  1. 1 c Shortening, or 3/4 cup

  2. 1 c Peanut Butter Chips

  3. 1 ts Baking soda

  4. 2 c All-purpose flour, unsifted

  5. 2 Eggs

  6. 1 ts Vanilla

  7. 1/2 c Light Brown Sugar, packed

  8. 1 c Sugar

  9. softened butter or margarine,

  10. 6 oz Semi-sweet chocolate chips

  1. Cream shortening or butter or margarine, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in a large mixer bowl until light and fluffy.

  2. Add eggs; beatwell.

  3. Combine flour and baking soda; add to creamed mixture.

  4. Stir in the peanut butter chips and chocolate chips.

  5. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.

  6. Bake at 350 F for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.

  7. Cool slightly.

  8. Remove from cookie sheet; cool completely on wire rack.
