  1. 1 deep dish baked pie shell

  2. 1/4 c. sugar

  3. 2 tbsp. cornstarch

  4. 1 c. water

  5. 2 tbsp. strawberry gelatin powder (sugar free is okay)

  1. Mix the sugar, cornstarch and water together. Bring to a boil and cook until thick and clear. Add the gelatin powder, stirring until dissolved. Cool.

  2. Arrange the whole strawberries to cover the bottom of the baked pie shell. Pour the gelatin mixture over the strawberries and chill until set. A whipped topping (low calorie is okay) may be added, if desired.
