  1. 1 cup plain flour (maida)

  2. 1 cup whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)

  3. 1 cup powdered sugar

  4. 3/4 tsp baking powder

  5. 1/2 tsp baking soda

  6. 1/4 tsp cinnamon (dalchini) powder

  7. 2 apples , peeled and finely chopped

  8. 1/2 cup raisins (kismis) , washed and drained

  9. 1 cup milk

  10. 3/4 cup butter

  1. Combine the plain flour, baking powder, wheat flour, sugar, baking soda and cinnamon powder and sieve for 2-3 times. Keep aside.

  2. Heat the butter in large pan and remove from the flame.

  3. Add the milk, and gently ad the flour mixture gradually, while stirring continuously.

  4. Add the raisins and apples, mix very lightly.

  5. Keep mixture a bit lumpy, and do not mix too much.

  6. Pour spoonfuls of mixture in the greased muffin trays.

  7. Bake in preheated oven at 200°c for 20 minutes or till a knife inserted comes out clean.

  8. Serve warm.
