  1. 1/2 kg rump steak, cut into thin strips salt and pepper to taste

  2. 1 tsp ground ginger

  3. 2 tbsp corn flour

  4. 450 ml sesame oil

  5. 25 g peeled and finely chopped root ginger

  1. Preparation (instructions) Rub beef strips with salt, pepper, ginger and cornflour. Set aside for 20 minutes. Heat oil in a skillet and stir fry root ginger for 2 minutes. Add in beef stripes and cook for 4 minutes. Serve with steamed white rice.
