  1. Pastry for 9 inch pie

  2. 3 lg. eggs

  3. 1/2 c. sugar

  4. 1 c. cooked or canned pumpkin

  5. 1/4 c. melted butter OR 1/2 c. cream

  6. 3/4 c. dark corn syrup

  7. 1/4 tsp. salt

  8. 1 tsp. cinnamon

  9. 1/2 tsp. each ginger, nutmeg

  10. 1/2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Beat eggs, sugar, pumpkin, butter, syrup, salt, spices, thoroughly. Mix in nuts. Pour into pastry-lined pie pan. Bake 45 to 50 minutes. Serve with whipped cream. This is a real good recipe for my home canned pumpkin.
