  1. -JUDI M. PHELPS 1 c Brown sugar; firmly packed

  2. 1/2 c Margarine or butter

  3. 1 Jar apricot preserves-

  5. 1 ts Vanilla

  6. 2 Eggs

  7. 1 3/4 c All purpose flour

  8. 1/2 ts Baking powder

  9. 1/2 ts Baking soda

  10. 1 c Bananas; thinly sliced about 2 medium 3/4 c Nuts; chopped (your choice)

  11. 350 degrees. Grease

  12. 13 x 9-inch pan. In large bowl, combine brown sugar, margarine, preserves, vanilla, and eggs; blend well. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. By hand, stir in remaining ingredients except powdered sugar; mix just until blended. Pour into prepared pan. Bake at

  13. 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely; sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cut into bars. Makes
