  3. 1/2 teaspoon of salt water

  4. 3 or 4 tablespoons of butter

  1. Instructions Chop the potatoes, sprinkling them with salt meanwhile. Butter a ramequin; into it put the potato disposing it evenly to the depth of an inch or more. Dot here and there with bits of butter, then pour in the water distributing it evenly over the potato. Let cook in the oven until hot throughout and a bit of potato here and there is lightly browned.
