  1. 2 1/4 c Unbleached All Purpose Flour

  2. 1 1/2 c Sugar

  3. 1/3 c Cocoa

  4. 3 1/2 ts Baking Powder

  5. 1 t Salt

  6. 1 lg Egg

  7. 1 1/4 c Milk

  8. 1/2 c Vegetable Oil

  9. 1 c Nuts -- Finely Chopped

  10. 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a

  11. 9 X 5 X 3-inch loaf pan. In a large bowl, combine all

  12. 30 seconds, then stir in the nuts. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 65 to 70 minutes or until a wooden pick, inserted in the center, comes out clean. Cool, on a wire rack in the pan, for 10 minutes then remove the loaf from the pan. Wrap tightly in Aluminum foil and cool completely before cutting.
