  1. 12 lbs chopped green tomatoes

  2. 3TBSP salt

  3. 8large onions

  4. 1 tsp pepper

  5. 3 TBSP dry mustard

  6. 1 TBSP cinnamon

  7. 1 TBSP allspice

  8. 1/2 tsp ground cloves

  9. 1 qt vinegar a few bayleaves

  10. 1 3/4 cps sugar

  11. 6 hot peppers

  1. chop tomatos, onions, peppers together and cover with the salt; let stand overnight. Drain, add the hot peppers which have been chopped, and spices tied loosely in a cheesecloth bag. Add sugar; allow to boil slowly until tender, (about 15 minutes) Pack into sterilized jars and seal at once, put on lids screwing down tight- Process in water bath at simmering tem (180 F) for 15 minutes
