  1. Pasta Arrabbiata

  2. 1 tablespoon olive oil

  3. 1/2 cup finely chopped onion

  4. 1 tablespoon minced garlic

  5. 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

  6. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  7. 1 can tomatoes, chopped (28 oz.)

  8. 1 pound linguine, cooked according to package directions

  9. 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

  10. Grated Parmesan cheese, optional

  11. Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add onion; cook 5

  12. minutes until softened. Stir in garlic, red pepper and salt; cook

  13. 30 seconds. Add tomatoes and their liquid; cook

  14. 15 minutes. Toss

  15. sauce with hot pasta and parsley in large serving bowl. Serve with

  16. Parmesan cheese, if desired. Makes 4 servings.
