  2. cup Water

  3. cup Sugar (white or brown)

  4. 1 teaspoon Pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon

  5. 1 pinch Nutmeg

  1. In the crock pot, place the peeled, cored, and quartered apples. A little lemon juice helps the apples not to discolor. Add sugar, spices, and water. Cook high for 3 hours; low cook for 8 hours. Cook on low for breakfast the next morning.
