  1. 2 cups 474ml Vegetable oil

  2. 6 Eight-inch corn tortillas - cut julienne strips

  3. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Southwest Spice - seeNote

  2. Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. When hot, add tortilla strips and fry until crisp and golden, about 1 minute. Remove strips from oil with a slotted spoon, drain on paper towels and sprinkle evenly with Southwest Spice.

  3. This recipe yields about 2 cups.
