  3. 3 large shallots , sliced

  4. 25 teaspoon(s) sea salt

  5. 1/3 cup(s) creme fraiche

  1. Whip up the Ultimate Mashed Potatoes , then stir in the following flavor combination.

  2. In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, heat oil. Fry shallots, until browned and golden, 6 to 8 minutes. (Discard any shallots that overbrown.)

  3. Using a slotted spoon, transfer shallots to a paper-towel-lined plate and sprinkle with sea salt.

  4. Stir shallots and crème fraîche into the mashed potatoes.
