  1. 1/2 c Dark corn syrup

  2. 1/2 c Butter or margarine

  3. 1 c Semi sweet chocolate chips

  4. 1/2 c Granulated sugar

  5. 3 Eggs

  6. 1 ts Vanilla

  7. 1 c Flour

  8. 1 c Chopped nuts

  9. --CHOCOLATE GLAZE--

  10. 2/3 c Semi sweet chocolate chips

  11. 2 tb Butter or margarine

  12. 4 tb Dark corn syrup

  13. 2 ts Whipping cream or milk

  14. 9-inch layer cake pan. Pour mixture in to the pan. Bake at

  15. 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan

  16. 10 minutes. Remove. Cool completely on rack. To prepare glaze, stir together the chocolate, butter and syrup over low heat in a saucepan. Remove from heat Stir in the cream or milk. Pour glaze over the cooled cake. Let stand 1 hour. Garnish with whole pecans or walnuts. Cut into wedges to serve. I hope you enjoy this cake. It says that it is a cross between a cake, a brownie, and fudge. You can also top each slice with whipped cream if you like. Enjoy.
