  1. Chicken With Vegetables

  2. 2 carrots, sliced

  3. 2 onions, sliced

  4. 2 ribs celery w/leaves, chopped

  5. 3 pounds whole fryer

  6. 2 teaspoons salt

  7. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  8. 1/2 cup chicken broth

  9. 1/2 to 1 t basil

  10. Put carrots, onions, and celery in bottom of crockpot. Add whole

  11. chicken. Top with salt, pepper, liquid. Sprinkle basil over top.

  12. 8-10 hours or HIGH

  13. 3 1/2 - 5 hours using

  14. 1/2 c liquid. Remove chicken and vegetables and serve.
