  1. 1 env. unflavored gelatin (1 tbsp. full)

  2. 2/3 c. brown sugar

  3. 1/2 tsp. salt

  4. 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

  5. 1/2 tsp. nutmeg

  6. 1/2 tsp. ginger

  7. 1 1/4 c. canned pumpkin

  8. 3 egg yolks

  9. 1/2 c. condensed milk

  10. MERINGUE:

  11. 3 egg whites

  12. 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar

  13. 1/2 c. sugar (white)

  1. Blend first 9 ingredients together in sauce pan. Cook over medium heat until it begins to boil, stirring constantly. Cool completely. Fold in meringue from last 3 ingredients, stirring together. Then pour into 9 inch baked pie shell and chill until set, about 2 hours. Eat and enjoy!
