  1. 2 Spinach

  2. 1 Fenugreek leaves

  3. 1 Dill

  4. 100 Blanched - diced tomatoes

  5. 1 Ginger - (1 inch)

  6. 3 Garlic

  7. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Turmeric powder

  8. 2 teaspoons 10ml Onions - minced (small)

  9. 1 tablespoon 15ml Ground cumin seeds Salt - to taste Chile powder - to taste

  1. Recipe Instructions Wash and soak dal in water for a couple of hours. Heat 1 tblsp. ghee and fry onion, ginger and garlic until soft. Put in the rest of the ingredients along with the dal and a little water. Cover tightly and cook over a low fire until the dal is tender and quite dry. Mix thoroughly with a spoon. Remove from fire and pour 5 tbsp. of ghee over top before serving.
