  1. 1 lb 454g / 16oz Mushrooms - (to 2) - cut in halves

  2. Salt - to taste

  3. Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste

  4. 5 tablespoons 75ml Butter - (to 6)

  5. 4 tablespoons 60ml Heavy cream - (about)

  1. Spread the mushrooms in a long baking pan. Dust lightly with salt and pepper and dot with butter. Cover and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 25 minutes. Pour the cream into the pan and bring to a boil on top of the stove.
