  9. 1/2 c Sugar

  10. 2 c Cream, heavy

  11. 2 c Milk

  12. 4 oz Creme de Cassis Liqueur

  13. Cut stems off fresh berries or thaw frozen berries and 6 to 8 berries aside for garnish.

  14. In a food processor, puree the berries with the sugar

  15. and liqueur. let it sit overnight.

  16. Whip heavy cream until thickened, but not stiff. Fold

  17. together thickened cream, milk and berry mixture.

  18. Slice the remaining berries from the tip almost up to

  19. the stem for garnish. Ladle soup into chilled soup
