  1. Crust

  2. 1 1/4 cup flour

  3. 1/3 cup brown sugar

  4. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  5. 1/2 cup unsalted butter (cold) Filling

  6. 6 tablespoons of butter

  7. 1/3 cup real maple syrup

  9. 1/3 cup whipping cream

  1. Combine the ingredients for the crust with a pastry blender. Place aluminum foil in a 9 inch square pan, spray with butter. Press flour mixture to the bottom of the pan and bake at 350 degrees for 12-17 minutes.

  2. Melt the first three ingredients of the filling in a sauce pan and boil for one minute, then combine with cream and pecans. Pour over the crust. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes. Shake pan to make sure filling doesn’t move then let it cool.
