  1. 3/4 lb. carrots, peeled

  2. 1 tablespoon butter

  3. 1 tablespoon brown sugar

  4. salt

  1. Cut the carrot lengthwise and crosswise.

  2. In a medium saucepan, cook carrots in small amount boiling water 8-10 minutes til crisp-tender. Drain; remove from pan.

  3. In the same saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar and salt. Stir over medium heat until combined; add carrots. Cook uncovered, about 2 minutes until glazed.
