  3. 3 Garlic cloves - finely chopped

  4. 2 cups 474ml Water

  5. 1 No-salt-added tomato sauce - (16 oz)

  6. 1 Tomato paste - (6 oz)

  7. 2 Bay leaves

  8. 1 teaspoon 5ml Dried oregano leaves

  9. 1 teaspoon 5ml Dried basil leaves

  10. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Dried marjoram leaves

  11. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Honey

  12. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Freshly-ground black pepper

  13. 8 oz 227g Uncooked spaghetti - cooked, drained, And kept hot

  1. Recipe Instructions Heat oil in large saucepan. Add onion and garlic. Cook and stir 5 minutes or until onion is tender. Add water, tomato sauce, tomato paste, bay leaves, oregano, basil, marjoram, honey and pepper. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat; simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Remove and discard bay leaves. Measure 2 cups sauce; reserve remaining sauce for another use. Serve sauce on pasta. This recipe yields 4 servings. Exchanges Per Serving: 3 Starch, 2 1/2 Vegetable.
