  1. 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, cubed

  2. 3 jars (5 ounces each) process sharp Cheddar cheese spread

  3. 1/2 cup milk

  4. 1 clove garlic, finely chopped

  5. 2 medium green onions, thinly sliced (2 tablespoons)

  6. 1/2 cup coarsely chopped canned smoked whole almonds

  7. 4 slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled

  8. Assorted raw vegetables or breadsticks, if desired

  1. Heat cream cheese, cheese spread, milk and garlic in 2-quart saucepan over medium heat, stirring frequently, until cheese is melted and smooth. Stir in onions and 1/4 cup of the almonds.

  2. Spoon into 1-quart slow cooker to keep warm if desired or into serving bowl. Sprinkle with bacon and remaining 1/4 cup almonds. Serve with vegetables. Dip will hold in slow cooker on Low heat setting up to 2 hours; stir occasionally.
