  1. 2 c. sifted flour

  2. 1 1/2 t. baking powder

  3. 1/2 t. salt

  4. 1/2 t. baking soda

  5. 1 c. sugar

  6. 2 T. butter melted

  7. 3/4 c. orange juice

  8. 1 egg beaten

  9. 1 c. raw cranberries chopped

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Sift the flour, baking powder, soda and sugar.

  3. Add the orange juice, melted butter, and add beaten egg.

  4. Mix well and add the chopped cranberries.

  5. Pour into greased loaf bread pan (or greased tin cans filled half full of batter. Soup cans make a nice size loaf for slicing).

  6. Bake for 1 hour.

  7. Cool about 10 minutes, then run a knife around the pan/can to remove loaf. Yield: serves 12
