  1. 2 bag(s) dried bread crumbs

  2. 1 bag(s) celery , Only need to use half of bag.

  3. 1 large onion

  4. 3 can(s) chicken broth , make sure large cans of broth.

  5. 1 container(s) sage

  6. 1 pound(s) bacon , use

  7. 1/2 pnd for dressing.

  8. 2 tablespoon(s) margarine or butter

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. One small frying pan for bacon. One medium sauce pan for broth.

  2. In a small frying pan fry up bacon. Cook til almost done. Crumble up bacon and place in a small dish and set aside. You will only use a half pound of bacon.

  3. Cut up celery stalks in small pieces. Cut up onion in small pieces. Open up cans of broth and place in a medium sauce pan over medium heat. Put cut up celery and onion in broth. Let it come to a boil and let it boil for a good 15 minutes.

  4. In a large casserole dish place bread crumbs in dish and pour celery, onion and broth mixture over the top. Stir in 2tblspns of margarine or butter. Place crumbled up bacon you set aside on top. Let this side dish bake for one hour.
