  5. 2 Jars Marinated artichoke hea 1/4 c Olive oil

  6. 2 c Onions; chopped

  7. 2 tb Garlic; minced

  8. 1/2 ts Dried oregano

  9. 1/2 ts Dried basil

  10. 1 tb Black pepper; coarsely groun

  11. 1/2 ts Salt

  12. pn Dried red pepper flakes

  13. 1 cn Plum tomatoes, with juice;

  14. 3/4 c Parmesan cheese; fresh grate

  15. 1/4 c Fresh italian parsley; chopp

  17. Drain the artichoke hearts, reserving the marinade.

  18. Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan. Add the onions, garlic, oregano,

  19. basil, black pepper, salt, red pepper flakes, and reserved artichoke marina

  20. Saute over medium low heat until the onions and garlic are soft and 10 minutes. Add the tomatoes and simmer for 30 minutes.

  21. Add the artichoke hearts, Parmesan, and parsley. Stir gently, and simmer

  22. another 5 minutes. --
