  1. 1 broiler-fryer chicken -- cut up

  2. 1 green pepper -- chopped

  3. 6 green onions -- chopped

  4. 1 16 ounces ca tomatoes -- cut up

  5. 1 6 ounces can tomato paste

  6. 1/4 pound cooked ham - about 3/4 cup -- cubed 1 teaspoon salt several drops of bottled hot pepper sauce

  7. 1/2 pound smoked or polish sausage -- sliced

  8. 3 cups cooked rice

  1. Preparation : In slow-cooking pot, combine chicken, pepper, onions, tomatoes, tomato paste, ham, salt and pepper sauce. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours. Turn control to high. Add sausage and cooked rice. cover and cook on high for 15 to 20 minutes.
