  1. INGREDIENTS AND DIRECTIONS:

  2. 9 inch unbaked pie shell

  4. 3 tbsp. flour

  5. 1/4 tsp. salt

  6. 1/4 tsp. nutmeg

  8. TOPPING:

  9. 1 c. flour

  10. 1/2 c. sugar (white or brown)

  11. 1/4 of sugar mixture again. Then add last layer of apples. Mix the last half of sugar mixture with

  12. 1/2 cup of whipping cream or sour cream; pour this mixture over the apples. Then cover with the crumb topping. Bake at

  13. 425 degrees for about 10 minutes, then reduce heat to

  14. 350 degrees and bake another

  15. 55 minutes.
