  5. Ready-made crust-9-inch pie

  6. 4 c Thinly sliced, peeled; cored

  7. Apples; very green and sour

  8. 2 tb Lemon juice

  9. 1/2 c Sugar

  10. 1/2 ts Cinnamon

  11. 1/4 ts Ground cloves

  12. 1 ts Vanilla

  13. 1 c Granola

  14. 1/4 c Raisins

  15. 1 tb Unsalted margarine

  16. Recipe by: The Diet Principal Preheat oven to 400. In a glass mixing bowl,

  17. mixed the apples with the lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon, cloves, vanilla,

  18. granola and raisins. Fill the unbaked pie shell with the apple mixture. Dot

  19. top with margerine. Place the pie in the oven and bake for 15 minutes.

  20. 350 and bake another

  21. 20-25 minutes. Remove pie from oven and let cool. If desired, make a lattice topping for the pie. --
