  1. 250ml evaporated milk

  2. 200g caster sugar

  3. 3 egg yolks

  4. 100g butter

  5. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  6. 100g desiccated coconut

  7. 125g chopped pecans

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine milk, sugar, egg yolks, butter and vanilla. Cook, stirring frequently, until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in coconut and pecans.
