  1. 1 cup green cabbage, cubed

  2. 2 cups green papaya, grated

  3. 1/2 pound string beans, julienned

  4. 3 garlic cloves, minced

  5. 3 dried red chilies, chopped

  6. 1 Tablespoon sugar

  7. 3 Tablespoons soy sauce

  8. 3 Tablespoons lime juice

  9. 3 small tomatoes, cut into wedges

  10. 5 Tablespoons peanuts, roasted and crushed

  11. 4 Tablespoons cilantro leaves, chopped

  1. Preparation: Place green cabbage pieces on a large serving platter and arrange in layers the cabbage, papaya , and beans. In a small bowl, mix together the garlic , chiles, sugar, soy sauce , and lime juice. Just before serving, pour the dressing over the salad and garnish with the tomatoes , peanuts, and cilantro .
