    1. 2 c Brown sugar

    2. 2 ts Lemon flavoring

    3. 2 ts Baking powder

    4. 1 ts Baking soda

    5. 2 c Cake flour

    6. 1 c Graham flour

    7. 1 c Chopped raisins

    8. 2 Eggs, well beaten

    9. 1 c Shortening

    10. 1/2 ts Salt

    1. Cream shortening and sugar.

    2. Add eggs.

    3. Beat thoroughly.

    4. Add raisins and flavoring.

    5. Sift cake flour, measure, and sift with baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

    6. Add graham flour.

    7. Add to creamed sugar and shortening mixture.

    8. Mix thoroughly.

    9. Form into rolls 2 inches in diameter.

    10. Chill overnight.

    11. Slice thin.

    12. Place on slightly oiled baking sheet.

    13. Bake in hot oven (400 F) about 10 minutes.
