  1. 2 tablespoons peanut or vegetable oil

  2. 8 ounces Chinese broccoli, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces 3 ounces fresh water chestnuts, peeled and chopped

  3. 1/3 cup sliced almonds

  4. 1 tablespoon minced fresh gingerroot

  5. 2 tablespoons lime juice Salt and pepper to taste

  1. In a large skillet, heat oil; add Chinese broccoli. Stir-fry for 5 to 6 minutes over medium-high heat, until nearly tender. Stir in water chestnuts, almonds, gingerroot and lime juice; season with salt and pepper. Cook and stir 2 minutes more or until heated through.
