  1. COOK'S NOTE: I ALSO offer a fine, "HOBO HASH" (with "HAG SACKS") Recipe that I make from this VERY Recipe, so if Cook desires, ADD IN about six (extra) New Potatoes to this mix when cooking and SAVE THEM ASIDE! CROCK POT METHOD for ENTIRE "BOIL": ~~LOAD UP your crock pot with ALL (above) listed Ingredients, COVER (completely) with Water, rev it up to it's HIGHEST HEAT setting, (along with Cook's choice of "spices") slide the lid on, and ENJOY (in six to eight hours!--us OTHERS 'ill be DONE eatin' our Saint's Meal--PLUS Dessert--and crouched-up over on the sofa! (Ha! The toilets didn't get cleaned and the floors didn't get swept, while it all cooked, but folks are feelin' FULL and FINE!) ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ DUTCH OVEN "BOIL" METHOD: ~~Over medium heat, BEGIN by COVERING ENTIRE Roast with Water (and any necessary spices that Cook desires.) ~~BRING TO A BOIL, then COVER and "SIMMER" on Medium, to a lower heat setting, for about an "hour-and-a-half." ~~ADD IN the Quartered, Cabbage, the Whole New Potatoes, the Halved Onions, the Celery Sticks and the Garlic Cloves. ~~COVER and CONTINUE to SIMMER for another hour and ENJOY! ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ SIDE BITE: Pull out your Larger, "Chili Pot" and ADD IN some Corn-on-the-Cob and Carrots! (or ANYTHING else that Cook desires to cook ALONG WITH this Recipe!) If the pot 'ill hold it, ADD IT! SIDE BITE: THIS Method works for almost ANY type of larger and meaty roast! ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ **WHAT WAS I DOIN' WHILE the Brisket was "Brisketing?" Makin' "Dessert," of course! ENJOY The "GREEN DAY" Holiday, EVERYONE! ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~SIDE BITE: BE SURE to SAVE the "Leftover" Brisket and Boiled Potatoes for some of my "HOBO HASH," Cooks!
