  1. 2 Red delicious apple

  2. 1 Granny smith apple

  3. 1/3 cup 78ml Lemon juice

  4. 2 cups 220g / 7.8oz Celery with leaves

  5. 2 tablespoons 30ml Chopped walnuts

  6. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Salt

  7. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Pepper

  8. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Curry powder

  9. 1/4 cup 59ml Water

  10. 1 tablespoon 15ml Vegetable oil

  11. Boston lettuce leaves

  1. Core, halve and cut each apple into 24 slices. Do not peel.

  2. Combine apples and 1/2 cup Lemon juice in a bowl; toss well. Cover and chill.

  3. Combine remaining lemon juice, celery, walnuts, salt, pepper, curry powder, water and oil in a bowl; stir well. Cover and chill.

  4. To serve, line a large serving platter with lettuce; drain apples and arrange in individual servings on top of lettuce. Spoon celery mixture around apples
